How would a Hypothetical SSJ 5 form be explained?

We know that SSJ is a form that comes forth at intense emotional and physical strain. The two forms above that are just more intense with the SSJ3 form being the full potential of the Saiyan's body can withstand. SSJ 4 is a transformation or as some call it "control" of the Oozaru state. Would then SSJ 5 in your own opinion(obviously seeing as it doesn't exist) be a more controlled state of the Oozaru form or something entirely different?

well, if i was using an ssj set that included ssj 5, i would use my triple theory. it goes like this

there are 3 "lines" of ssj: super saiyan, mastered super saiyan, and oozaru super saiyan. each line has 3 forms, and they all follow the same pattern: the 3rd form is the most powerful, the second form is the most useful, and the first form is the key to the next line.

so we would have:

ssj line: ssj (balanced form) assj (more powerful than ssj, but speed and stamina lag slightly), ussj (super strong, but super slow, eats through ki)

mssj line: mssj (same power as ssj, but much better stamina), ssj2 (more powerful than mssj, but has wild emotions), ssj3 (a saiyan's true potential, eats ki unless the saiyan has their tail, still has significant ki drain even with tail)

ossj line: ossj (golden oozaru, even more powerful than ssj3, but completely uncontrolled) ossj2 (ssj4, same power as ossj, but has a smaller, more humanoid form and is under control)
ossj3 (ssj5, basically ssj3 while oozaru. without significant training, this form is impossible to maintain for more than a few seconds)
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

I would say that SSJ5 would be a power up from SSJ4 not SSJ3. It pushes SSJ4 power to a whole new level. But it would be alot of power. I am not done with my Power level list but I am not really sure if it's power would be near ssj4 gogeta or above or below it. But if there was an SSJ5 Gogeta then wow that would be something.

no, what i meant was that it was the same type of form as ssj3, as in it pushes the saiyan's hidden power out to its limit. the difference is that ssj5 also has the boosted power of the oozaru line.

Oh yeah that does make alot of sense. The strain of SSJ5 must be pretty high compared to even the USSJ or SSJ3. Kind of funny how bulma was talking about Super Saiyan 5 in GT.

Izanagi!

In my personal opinion, it'd go full circle

Base - SSJ - SSJ2 - SSJ3
Golden Oozaru - SSJ4 - SSJ5

SSJ5 would be unlocked just how SSJ2 was unlocked.

I don't think SSJ5 would be very practical. SSJ4 is already really pushing into ridiculous lol. Saiyans would have to have it in their genes. You know! They already have enough trouble going SSJ.

Interesting. How does it use OSSJ and the SSJ line though? Like isn't SSJ controlled and OSSJ uncontrolled? And the most important question what hair color does it have? Also would there be any room for a possibility of yet another ssj form beyond that of fives. Or would five be the in all of all ssj levels?

I think first we need a (real) SS4.

ossj is the golden oozaru (ossj = oozaru super saiyan). the ossj line is the final line, making three lines of three forms each. as for ssj5 appearance, i'll leave that to someone else.

That's actually the exact thing I was thinking. GT's SSJ4 is not very solid ground to stand on when basing an SSJ5 theory upon it.

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D
Now, there's an idea.

Why is that? It made pretty good sense if you think about it.

I suppose I'm using the fact as GT's non-canon...ess as the basis of that statement. Sort of unfair, I guess.

In addition to that, though, I don't see how Goku "controlled" his golden ape form to reach SSJ4, but Baby Vegeta could not. Then, when Vegeta turned into the ape, he wasn't golden, but he still achieved SSJ4. For some reason it changes you into an adult...

Little pet peeves, I suppose not enough to support my previous statement. *Revokes statement.*

That makes more sense. I understand what you mean. But the basic Goku controlling it to go SSJ 4 is fine though.

Yes, the whole theory concerning only Goku makes sense to me.
